Not willing to risk his super-heavy asset on a full scale assault on the ferocious Bullgryn thug, Abaddon mobilizes his spies, and discovers that Little Horus is to be transported off-planet from Solar Mariatus deeper into the Cadian system and further away from the influence of Chaos.
Details of the prisoner transfer in-hand, Abaddon mobilized a commando raid behind enemy lines.
Caught unawares, the Imperial Veterans and assigned Scions were overwhelmed by the ambush, and Little Horus was liberated.
Incensed by his troops’ ability to protect the precious cargo, Sgt. Slab mobilizes a full assault on what his scouts have informed him is the “rebel base”.
Heavy armour and artillery support were requisitioned for this battle, and infantry deployed ruthlessly.
The Chaos positions were heavily shelled, took severe casualties, and were cast out of their underground position to flee elsewhere on Solar Mariatus, while Slab conducted the procedural purging of local dissidents.
Slab himself fell in the battle, but was stitched up efficiently. He’ll be back to the front-lines shortly.
Erstwhile, Ulmar the Incompetent moved up to the Korolis spaceport, with the Mighty Flow’ry Meadow itself…
